What's your legacy ?

I can't help but grieve.

It's been nine days our place doesn't
have cheerful ambiance.
It was because our beloved district
Captain was killed by unknown 
culprits in the morning rush of that
fateful day in January 30,2019.


Sorrow and disbelief
was in the air especially to
  those who are closest to her.
  
She passed away with
a virtue of admiration
 to children, to the youth,
and  families. Men, women,  
and the elderly cried in 
 anguish as we lost our 
upstanding leader.

I've known her for a long time as 
a special  loving friend to me
and to many others. 

A strong willed and a cheerful soul
that we  cannot always  find to others that seats to authority 
 in some other areas. 

She dreamed for her countless goals to fulfill yet and looks forward
to perform greater accomplishments  towards  her district's progress in behalf of the less fortunate. 

She inspires, motivates and gives hope. 


 She implements peace, order and discipline.  

Like a precious jewel,

She is a great loss to the thousands that loved her
and to the country.

Crisell  Beltran is a name 
 that brought  
happiness to the majority 
of the people here and
even in the several nearby towns. 
She has contagious joy and always with
 free smile to everyone.

 Her big heart for her constituents is what she offers amidst conflicts
she faces in her loyal service
as an administrative
 public servant. 

Our district Captain 
left   with
sparkling principles  

 

for us to live by; 


To love our fellowmen and our God.
To be an advocate of orderliness and justice. 



To appreciate this short life.
And to bring legacy of love 
and respect.

The value of moments

Last  night me and my two daughters watched 
the 'Bohemian Rhapsody' movie of the band
Queen. As we watched, I remember
 how the band became larger than life
for its  ultimate performance and records.

I woke up late sort of that movie
we finished  before dawn. 
So, in the morning,
I was awakened by the tantrums of my pet 
Waffle as she try telling me it's time 
to get up !


Sometimes our pet 
wants to remind us that in everything
there's a right time because of the
 body clock they get from the basis 
of their routine.

In life,we cannot be spared to 
get drained from different reasons.
It happens to me frequently.Maybe it 
is also because of same routine that I do 
everyday, while I also desire to do
other significant  things like 
doing my blogs.


I believe that every precious moment 
we spent in this life has worth like a gift.
By sharing responsibilities, love,
laughter and fun with
our loved ones.
And I can say that loving our family
is a form of serving our Gracious
God.
Like when me and my son attended
my father's side family reuniuon
last 13th of January.
It is in regards of love and respect to my roots
and to my father, as well.
And to my inner being, too.

The world turns around for us 
to learn and understand that 
God loves us, and He wants us
to love Him in return by living 
our life to the fullest through
the knowledge and obedience to His word !

Whisper of wind

I was amazed and felt so happy when I went out tonight.
I'ts because of the cool air that made me chill!
I remember the hours and the days when I was
with my daughter, Ana Marie during my stay in her place
in Guangzhou, China.



In that place where they stay, I could gladly say
that despite the fast and preoccupied ambiance
of Chinese people,their being simple 
and practical are impressive with the 
way they  use to live.
Because in the main streets,using bicycle 
is  another form of transportation.
of many people.





In the marvelous city of Guangzhou,
you can find a culture that is a combination
of  first rate of innovation and a picture perfect 
of preserved beauty of nature and the 
country's historical remnants.








I cherish the times I visit the other
places in Asia
The cool breeze and fresh air.
The warm embrace of my eldest daughter.
Her smile,her trusting look like a child.
I guess that cold wind sends warmth
in the heart despite its bleak,
when it brings back someone's
memoirs,........

The mark of milestones

Every one has its own goal
in each day.

Even a young child has her perspective 
from schooling up to going to bed 
at night.
Homemakers and career
people fulfill their tasks and 
get rest after a long day.




But what about milestones in 
this quick busy life ?
I sometimes take a moment to think
what life has been in this 
journey of achievement that 
I look forward everyday.




I remember when my daughters frequently
perform as cultural dancers during 
their junior high school.I was a proud mom
then as I watch them perform on stage !
My youngest has her milestone of 
talent in singing too!



Another milestone that leaves a mark 
in a person's life is after enduring 
the hardship of rock bottom of break up.
It is a total challenge to rise
above life's adversaries.
Any body that is under life's great 
trial needs strong fighting spirit

and total submission to 
our God, our Savior.  


Milestones.  They are countless.

I have been in dire strait when 
I was in time of facing life's obstacles.
Losses teaches us a lesson.
Wounds of failures bring us victory
by learning to fight and win the battle.









My travels to other countries are 
also marks 
of milestone, in courtesy of my eldest daughter and her
  husband. It was a great fun
to see South Korea and China !
The sight of their culture 
 and richness
are so amazing ! 






Waffle has been in fight of deadly pet
 diseases but her recovery and best
 health today are our family's
milestone in pet care!

What is your sanctuary ?

Today I woke up feeling muzzy.
There was a bit effect of the cocktail 
in my head from the last night's  surprised
 birthday party of one of my neighbors here.
What a fun we had ! It's very seldom that 
we bond and enjoy with playing 
videoke, as we dine together.





Then, I go about my day.
Me and my son enjoyed
 the


 
nutrients of broccoli and fish
fillet that I cooked.
What a great dinner I made!
Sometimes there is sanctuary
 in small things.

In everyday living, my heart longs for sheltered waters.
For others,a hiding place
 is to have fun.
For some, to have sanctuary is to
have a quiet time in prayer to God.
Whenever I went alone to
 a mall,
 it is the time I try to unwind.

they are loved.

If someone feels the need for 
a roof over head, it's from some sort 
of  something they long which 
is out of sight at the moment.
Life is not perfect. It is even
 unfair to many.
That's why I believe that a hiding
place like the sight of sea waves
can help someone in finding
 refuge when pressures and 
desolation strikes !

Whenever I am down, seeking
the Lord helps me lift
my spirit.
In faith, prayer and the 
sight of indescribable beauty
of His creations!

Sometimes I wonder about what true happiness is.

For me, it lies on how a person feels his life.

It is contained by peace and forgiveness.

I believe that there is no such glory without 

love and forgiveness in one's heart.

Human beings are bound to fall 

in each shortcomings.

I could also offend my most

 dear ones with unintentional 

offenses,somehow

along this journey of  this fast paced life.

Though,my heart longs for forgiveness

to whoever person I hurt . 

I believe that abundance of joy is not

 just based on what success

 and money can get.

Peace that brought about by love

 and resilience of people 

you love is where true

 happiness is.

A person brings love if he learned

 its true meaning as he grew up. 

Life under the blue sky is the

 time of harvest of God's favor

 through obedience to His word.

Happiness is feeling safe.

Safe from fear of discrimination

 of your existence.

It is when you get yourself together

after you fall apart.

It is like how the sand and

the waves of the sea

welcomes a new dawn.

How the rays of light from the sun

 refreshes one's soul as it reflects its

 radiance in the blue

 color of the sea !

As for me, one of our leap of joy

is how our family crossed the bridge

 of saving our pet from all troubles 

of pet diseases .

Waffle found her haven

by our love for her !

Clear and  blue sky 

 for me is when I

can express everything behind 

my smile !

Love begets love, and its where

you can find true happiness !

 

Hallmark of love

When I was young, I remember how carefree and cheerful I was, as a little girl. My memories as a child was encompassed by fun and playfulness like anybody could cherished of. It was because of the sharing and gestures of love from family and friends that made festive holidays like Christmas time a hallmark of love to my childhood.

What is the especial style of genuine love a person can give? I believe it goes with unconditional love, at all seasons, even in the peak of troubles, victories and it is timeless. 

Hallmark of love withstands beneath the storm like the steadfast love of God. My love for my children never stops and will never end even in afterlife.

Like  gold tested in fire, love rendered stays with its grace. It's like no retreat when faced by obstacles. Genuine love emblems one's life like a valley of water in a dry land. 

When my  pet got sick,she gained the hallmark of love from Dr. Sol Salaver the chief veterinary doctor in Holy Spirit Animal Clinic in Don Antonio Quezon City, Philippines.

What about time out ?

Once in a while we need to set back from the rest of the world. Anyone needs to take time to unwind somehow. Regardless of place we are in, it is normal to feel drained sometimes.

In this time and age, to have some diversion from daily task is essential to our well being. It is like playing tennis. A short nap in the long day of a workplace. Daily pressures are inevitable and even a single drop of failure wears us down. Even the strong people hides them selves by poker face.

If taking time out from stress was not an idea, there are some that succumbed to depression. It turns us worn out and weary. I happened to be taken over by it, several times in the past. Recollection with the Heavenly Father to a far getaway place is a great time out. It can be in a closed quiet room offering our burden to God.

Even a pet can give us time out. Give way to your passion. Write a story. Arrange flowers, go and travel. Let's beat the odds of this life, keep our hearts open to new courage offered by time out!
