Waves that are closed together

There are times that we find ourselves in the brink of uncertainty when
gigantic flashes of challenges in life was thrown to us in  a drop of a hut.

And so,in the middle of such struggles, you may  be falling apart.

In different aspects and  situations, whether in social, or personal life, we may once walk to each trails of learning, to gain gold and glory as  we travel every stage of life's pathways...

Padi Beach, Morong, Bataan

But what if  we were caught up in the middle of waves of trials?

Where could we find strength to

escape the waves that seems
closed together? Fear and sorrow feels like strong waves that weakens a person  and lose hope to push through the water.

However, it is apparent  that even the strongest waves changes. We just need to keep on moving to a right direction. And in the deep, small light comes in. Like the rising sun in the early dawn, the waves changes, and the water calms down, eventually.

As we walk this journey, we may lose track of time to oversee what's up ahead
or to find  bends in the road. Because life is full of challenges as well as surprises,
full of adventure in everyway. And while on trip, we enjoy each view.

Waves are part of our life. It is with spark, anyhow.
When I think of waves, I feel mystery about it.
I just want warm waves touching me in the seashore.
Great surfers embrace waves above the sea.
What are the waves you want in your life ?

Friends in time and space

At Tim HoWan, Smegamall,Mandaluyong
Metro Manila
Two weeks ago,

I  have been busy about my

day when in one afternoon, I

received a message from messenger

inviting me to a dinner date of a get together

with classmates  during my senior high school.

I was reluctant at first, but when I learned

that the one who organized our dinner was

my long lost close friend,

 I agreed to come.

When you realized that you will be seeing

the people during teen-age life, there

are mixed emotions and things that goes
across  the mind.

I was wondering if how do they

look like by now, after four decades ?

How about their insights from

their adventures as they explored life ?
would they be happy to see me ?

How I wish I won't mess around if

I won't be able to call each one of

them by names except by the few ?

I was excited to meet them although
I was a bit quite unsure of the outcome of
 meeting them again
except  the one who called for the invitation.

Me and my son arrived to the venue a little early,
I was happier upon seeing my batch mate's gaze of  warm welcome to us, as John and his family
approached us.

Our dinner date that night was filled with
jokes, laughter, fun and endless
talks of our past during high school days.
Some were surprised to recall that
we've even been classmates when we
 were in the second grade!

In our lifetime,

there are  people from our younger years where we stayed in their hearts in time and space

regardless the fortune they gained and the
long decades that has passed.
I never thought that John, would hold the
cross over for his batch mates to reach and get together again !

My pet serves as a crossover for my family
and friends to have a reason to be happy
all the time !

The glimpse of time

Daegu, South Korea

Sometimes
I can't fathom how time flies so
fast. It's like I just tripped
the light, and then, in a blink of
an eye,I feel like
I wake up at the speed
of  time
in a constant change.

Every Mom knows the feeling
of  beyond joy and fascination
when her children grew up and
became amazing persons.

Especially, when you find that your
daughter is smarter and gained much talent
even if you are unaware of it.

When my youngest daughter Sam
was still a toddler, she prefers to stay home
rather than to be out and be
on somewhere else
and was unlike other children.
As she grows up, she is bright and confident and loves
learning and  also had passion in music, as  singing
and playing acoustic and electric guitar.

Although she focused on her studies,
she sings with her angelic voice and write songs
that any one would be stunned to hear.
And to add with that, I was also surprised
when I watched her dance on the stage
while the crowd was also impressed by
her performance !

I can say that I am lucky to have loving
children despite my imperfection
as a mother.
I nurtured them, and thought them good principles
in life as they grow up.
That's why they know how to appreciate the gift
of life with its simple ways.

I believe that even pets do understand
the meaning of love when it is rendered
to them.My shih tzu is a happy dog because
she felt love  from our  family by fulfilling

our responsibilities as fur parent.

Sam has lots of desire to fulfill

     for the future ahead.
With her around, our home is always
filled with laughter because of her wit
and nature of being funny.
She sees life as a path of challenges
and a game to win with positivity.

As a mother, I always say that life is a gift to
be grateful despite its trails for us to pass by.

So, how do we guide our children so they might
discover their inner strength as they start to
learn what life is all about ?

Love with its kind

My best friend that stayed in my heart

In our life, there are people
and things that come along our way
 that left their marks
with ardent memories in our hearts
and in our mind.

Like how the teachers in grade school
attributed profound knowledge
and values to young children.

In my case, I once had an English
teacher during early school
that has imposed marvelous imprint

on me in language that I still
profit even today.

I also once had a friend so dear to me
that loved to hear and see me when
I speak at the pulpit in our church during Sunday Bible  school.
She wished that I could become
Jariel's peak, Agos river, Infanta, Phillipines
a devoted speaker sharing the good news of salvation to all the people someday. With her wit, charm and being funny,
she is a lady in a renewed spirit and
loves the company of people
serving God.
She stayed in my heart though
she passed away in one lonely
night of  November, 2004.

When I feel so down, I miss the old days
when I was with my supportive guy friend.
who used to help me wind up in time of
my distress by taking me to parks, and to towns
that would amaze me.
He was a true gentleman whom I felt so respected, valued, and his kindness
was like a pillar to me.

I know that I could never again find another

Becca  and Randie who once walked

with me through thick and thin.

It is inevitable that life has constant
change, as well as people. There is only one thing

that doesn't change--God's love that never
 fails!

My family in the church are resilient with me,brightens
 up  my day and brings

me hope, strength and uplifts my spirit.

Life is full of ups and downs.

Up when life is flamboyant in the early stages

of being in love. Down when the feeling of love
fades away ,.....

Because even a smile couldn't conceal

what hearts want to show,....

And when eyes cannot deny

that pain and aching heart gives up
that once called happiness,...

What makes my day

It's been a jolly morning for me
and Waffle, my pet.

All fur parents can relate on

how I feel whenever my pet shows

her love and
whispers to me as a way of
showing her happiness .

Pets  give a good start
 of  the day.
My shih tzu is jealous as a territorial breed.
If I call another pet in the house,
she would likely get upset and demands my attention
just for her.

Yesterday, I wasn't aware that she
 got out of our gate,

and wandered in the streets
as she ran along that was
 too far from our home.

I was lucky enough of
having good neighbors for
bringing her back to me.

On top of my voice I yelled at her

in fear of

of what might have been

if we lost her. With her low growl, while whimpering, she rest her head on me

 ,apologizing.

If our loved one  caused
  us emotional pain,
what will it cost, so our heart may  heal ?

Will it be a regret on their side
and be a simple but heartfelt
longing for a forgiveness ?

Happiness from the love of people we value
as much is what makes our day

but if our love has no
significance  towards whom we bestow upon,

I wonder what

will make your day !
